Cristina Moon is an author, marketing strategist, and social change agent who has led global movements championing human rights and democracy in Burma, the elimination of nuclear weapons, expanding economic access through the sharing/gig economy, and more. Today, she works with startups, nonprofits, and community initiatives as a marketing strategist and movement-builder. She is a graduate of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business (MSM 2016) and the University of Chicago (AB 2005).
In 2024, Cristina's first book, Three Years on the Great Mountain: A Memoir of Zen and Fearlessness, was published with global distribution by Penguin Random House. In it, she chronicles the decade-long journey that led her to Daihonzan Chozen-ji, a Rinzai Zen temple and martial arts dojo in Hawaii, and what it has been like to live and train there, and ordain as a Zen priest.
