Tim Donohue joined Kamehameha Schools in 2019 and serves as its Chief Investment Officer, overseeing more than $12B of financial assets invested globally and select Hawaii real estate investments. Kamehameha Schools’ mission is to create educational opportunities in perpetuity to improve the capability and well-being of people of Hawaiian ancestry. He also serves as chairman of the investment committee at the University of Hawaii Foundation.
Previously, Tim spent 11 years at Columbia University’s endowment, most recently as the Chief Investment Officer. Earlier in his career, he was a management consultant in Booz Allen’s Houston and London offices, providing strategic and organizational advice to clients globally as a Partner in the firm’s energy practice. He was an engineer, commodities trader, and general manager in other prior roles.
Tim earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
